Growing Conditions

The 2022 vintage was greeted with optimism by the winemaking community, given the favorable weather conditions. The balance of rainfall and sunshine throughout the year created ideal conditions for the healthy development of the vines. As a result, winemakers were able to work with high-quality grapes, which allowed them to choose from a wide range of wines. The character of the 2022 wines is dominated by harmony, which makes this vintage particularly attractive to consumers. Overall, the 2022 vintage is a great choice for lovers of quality wines.

Winemaking

Not particularly aromatic variety, with medium body and acidity. Those who have smelled Reseda say that it has a Reseda scent, and a bitter, almond-like aftertaste is common. Apart from its name, it has nothing to do with Rhine Riesling, they are not related, and they are not similar. Currently, under the name Graševina, it is the main variety in Croatia with about 8,500 hectares. It is also widespread in Austria, and its production area in Hungary is 3,800 hectares.
