Nose
Ripe table grapes, mangoes and peaches are accompanied by a hint of citrus and nettle.
Palate
After tasting, the juicy notes of well-ripened white-fleshed fruit guide the wine, in which the fresh buoyancy of the carbon dioxide bubbles fulfills the long-lasting taste experience.
Growing Conditions
The first half of 2024 got off to a rainy start. The winter did not bring much cooling, so due to the early budding and vegetation, the flowering started already at the beginning of May. At the beginning of June, the grapes were in the stage of small berries, but by the middle of June they had already reached the size of green peas. Due to the forced ripening caused by the nearly 40-degree dry summer weather, the first bunches came off the vines already on August 1st, so we started in the vineyards 2-3 weeks earlier than in previous years. There was no stop between picking the raw materials for the white, rosé and light red wines, thanks to which the harvest took place continuously and quickly. Finally, accompanied by a little refreshing rainfall, we closed the work of the 2024 vintage in the vineyard on September 26, by picking the raw material for the full-bodied red wines. All in all, we had a season with a very tense pace, which was also felt in the dynamics of the harvest, but the quality and quantity of the harvest also developed according to our expectations, and the 2024 vintage will clearly produce beautiful, full-bodied wines.
