Bordeaux blend - cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot - in equal proportions in the bottle. Layered, characterful, balanced acid and mature, integrated tannin structure. In both nose and palate: black cherry, black currant, blueberry, ripe plum. Frutiness decorated further with barrel spices - black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, dark chocolate. Long finish, elegant and substantial aftertaste. A true companion to game meats, grilled meats and mature French cheeses.
