Nose

The aroma of berries and the varietal character of the Blue Frankish wine are beautifully displayed.

Palate

The taste is dominated by silkiness and berries, a very round, easy-to-drink wine.

Growing Conditions

Our Zweigelt plantation is located on the Kecskehegy plateau in Mór, with a slight southwest exposure. The name of the area can be derived from the fact that at first there was no viticulture here, but goat herders grazed their animals here. Later, with the boom in viticulture, the vines quickly found a home here. The varied, slightly compacted soil of the mountain, the sunlight that surrounds the plantation well, can provide very good quality, and thanks to its high location, it is a place well protected from frost.

Winemaking

Wine made from grapes harvested in September 2020, at technological maturity. We made this little speciality from bunches harvested exclusively by machine, soaking and fermenting the grapes on the skins for a short time. Treated and briefly aged in tanks throughout.

Appearance

A light ruby-colored wine with an elegant appearance.

Food Pairing

We recommend drinking it well chilled at 14-16 C. If you are looking for a lighter red wine experience, if a rosé is not enough, but a full-bodied red is enough, then Schiller is the place to go. Like Beaujolais from France, this is a fresh, prime wine that can make any evening or afternoon more beautiful.
