Szekretár Organic Wines
A brief history
János Szekretár sr. viticulturist came up with the idea of a premium wine estate in 2017, after 40 years of planting and cultivating hunderds of hectares of grape in Villány and Szekszárd regions. He felt that the time has come to return to the roots: he wanted to be in direct contact with the vines again, work in his beautiful 134 year-old press house, in a vineyard of a controllable size. János Szekretár jr., manager and winemaker, wholeheartedly supported his father’s idea and has always wanted to make outstanding red wines that reflect his excellent taste, premium wines of which he is truly proud. Their maximalism and perseverance is also reflected in their other passion, sports: they have many marathons behind them.
