As the older farmers in the area call it, “green sheep’s milk”, it is a true Baranya specialty.
Another interesting fact is that it is made by quickly processing blue grapes, thus turning them into white wine. However, the spiciness and delicate yogurt-like roundness of Kadarka are retained in it.
