A brief history
Family owned and run winery in the heart of Tokaj wine region, in the village of Mád. We nurture 14 000 grapevines and produce 15 000 bottles of wines on a yearly basis. We are organic producer of grape, and use no or minimal intervention in the winemaking. Main grape varieties in the region are Furmint and Hárslevelű, autochton grape varieties grown on volcanic soil of the Hungary and few wine regions in the Carpathian basin. We do have heritage and identity back to 400+ years, and our terroir (volcanic rhyoit, rhyolit tuff and zeolit) and our unique grape varieties (furmint and hárslevelű) gives us a unique opportunity in the world of wines for wine lovers.
