LISICZA Borház
A brief history
The history of our family winery, the Lisicza Borház, goes back to the second half of the 1800s, when my mother's family - the Mérey family - started planting grapes on our still-existing areas in Helesfa. We bought our cellar and press house in 1906, which is still the center of our winery. At that time, our vineyards spread over Helesfá, Kővágószőlős and Cserkút, which were nationalized after the Second World War, and then the plantations were cut down. In 1998, my father, dr. Under the leadership of István Lisicza, the replanting, the renovation of the old cellar and the creation of a modern winery began.
