Palate
High intensity and complexity of flavours are associated with this wine. Mango, orange marmalade, dried apricots and sweet spices such as nutmeg and ginger characterise the flavours of this wine. On the long finish, butterscotch, wild mushrooms and honey appear. It is also worth mentioning the extremely high acidity structure, which is a unique and special feature of the Tokaj-Hegyalja wine region, and which contributes to the wine's outstanding international reputation as a sweet wine.
Growing Conditions
2016 was our best vintage in the decade regarding Aszú wines. Small rains at the beginning of September ignited the botrytis development and prepared the vineyards for the long and warm autumn. Grapes were able to reach full phenolic ripens before noble rotting became dominant in the vineyards.

Food Pairing
A great pairing with foie gras pâté or marbled cheese. It can be a very special experience with Cuban cigars, where earthy flavours harmonise with sweet notes.
