Growing Conditions

The year turned out to be exciting and interesting at the same time. The beginning of the year it started normally, it wasn't extremely cold either, but the winter was warm too avoided the wine country. The spring had a lack of rainfall, and the vines sprout poorly and slowly. The rain came in May, and it ended up being a lot. Initially there were many similarities to the 2010 vintage, but luckily it didn't turn out like that. When the vines bloomed, there were no branches dek, we lacked rain both in July and August, so the crop protection was simple. The grapes have grown so much that we can barely keep up with them in the green work. The harvest was the most beautiful, what we have experienced so far. We knew the grapes were at normal maturity to pick, the original harvest dates have returned. Overall we are satisfied with the vintage.
