Nose

The nose is restrained yet complex.

Palate

Brimming with blackberry and blueberry, dark chocolate, and a touch of brandied cherry.
Marked by firm but well-integrated tannins, with notes of black pepper and sweet spices. The alcohol is noticeably high, yet it doesn't upset the balance of the wine. We're dealing with a ripe, full-bodied, and powerful structure. The finish is long and rich, lingering with deep, concentrated flavors.

Growing Conditions

Our terroir tends to favor Cabernet Franc over Cabernet Sauvignon, making the latter a rarer success - but when it does succeed, it does so spectacularly.

Tivald seeks to seize these rare opportunities as often as possible, and the results achieved at international wine competitions show he’s doing just that, with great success.

Harvest

Harvest in late October.

Aging

18 months maturation in first-fill 225-liter Hungarian and French oak barrels.

Appearance
