The year 2021 proved to be a truly challenging period for winemakers. For wineries, the year began with extremely variable weather conditions, which had a significant impact on grape production. Precipitation was below average, especially during the critical flowering period. The increase in the number of hours of sunshine created more favorable conditions for grape ripening, which allowed wineries to produce high-quality wines. Overall, the 2021 vintage turned out to be an above-average one.
