Originally built in the 1860’s, the boutique Boksay (Pincészet) Vineyard is an award-winning family-run business in the heart of the Badacsony Wine Region in Western Hungary. The Vineyard is located on the south side of Mount St. George, north of Lake Balaton. The soil is volcanic and the climate is sub-Mediterranean, sunny and sheltered from the northern winds. The Boksay Vineyard, is focused on the quality of their wine, not the quantity; and their goal is to raise awareness of the unique flavors of the wine from this region.
