A brief history
As a third-generation winery, our winery strives to meet the needs of today by following a new, modern technology.
The parents planted the first 1 hectare of grapes in the Borsmonostor vineyard – near the Austrian border – in 1996, and then in 2000 another 1 hectare of grapes was planted in this excellently located area. Thanks to market demands and excellent wines, the family’s vineyard area was expanded by another 2.5 hectares in 2008 on the outskirts of Kőszegfalva, where the yellow muscat can now be found as a new variety, from which we also produce a semi-sweet category. We strive to expand and replant the old Kőszeg grape-growing areas, so in 2017 the family purchased a 1.6 hectare estate with a beautiful panorama at the foot of Kőszeg Mountain, in the Pogány Valley, which we are trying to replant with our existing grape varieties. Taking advantage of the area’s characteristics and tourist attraction, we would like to open it up to wine tourism. In the gentle lap of nature, next to the vines, groups of friends, colleagues, families can spend a special, yet positive time with us – at a child-friendly wine tasting – to everyone's complete satisfaction. Where it is worth coming not only for our wines, but also for the fabulous view. Whether you get our wines with the view, or the view with our wines, is up to everyone to decide.
