Palate

A straight-lined, characterful, exciting wine, with persistent effervescence and remarkable individuality. Anyone who values strong character more than flattery in wine will love it

Growing Conditions

After the cold early summer, with single-digit Celsius temperatures, the hottest July in a century, a hot summer and a pleasant autumn tried to compensate the grape growers. Overall, this resulted in a promising vintage, where despite the extreme heat, the acids were typically well preserved.

Winemaking

Not particularly aromatic variety, with medium body and acidity. Those who have smelled Reseda say that it has a Reseda scent, and a bitter, almond-like aftertaste is common. Apart from its name, it has nothing to do with Rhine Riesling, they are not related, and they are not similar. Currently, under the name Graševina, it is the main variety in Croatia with about 8,500 hectares. It is also widespread in Austria, and its production area in Hungary is 3,800 hectares.
