Palate
It became a serious wine with a rich taste but it goes down well.
Growing Conditions
Our home, the St. George Mountain, lays in the Protected "Balatonfelvidéki" National Park.
The organic vineyard lies on a volcanic hill, the base soil consists mainly of volcanic heritage and the "Pannon" marine deposit. There are significant microclimatic differences in the mountain's main climate. Since the mountain blocks the northern winds its south side is dominated by sub-mediterranean characteristics.
Harvest
Yield: 60 dkg / vine
Winemaking
The final product spent 10 months in the barrels and stayed for another 3 months in steel tanks so that self-purification could have occurred. Even though it is a white wine it is bottled without clarifying and filtering. We are taking the risk so that we could have as full flavors as possible.
Aging
As all of our wines this was matured in wooden barrels as well. The 225-liter barrels are partially new, partially old.
